Just back from being fired. It's about 13.5 inches square. I did an angular Greek wave design frame to set off the simple figure.
In butterscotch and white, high gloss.

In the thumbnail, it looked like paper cut and stacked to form a 3D shape! It's very pretty. I love how the glazes are not ultra-glossy (at least, they don't look it in the picture).

You are partially correct in your assessment on technique. It is a high gloss glaze, however.

wow... its beautiful! you have great skill :) could you explain how you went about the whole process for us newbies to sculpture? we've got sculpture in college, but its nowhere near as advanced as this :o here everyone just sticks to good old clay, wood and fibre...
