The plaster mold has been poured. As soon as it has dried properly, I can pour the clay slip into the mold and make the first ceramic reproduction of the original that you commented upon.

I also was curious as to whether the pieces were based on a life model, yourself, or referenced from somewhere?

This is really nice, I love the textural differences. It looks like he's part submerged in water or oil or something. Beautifully convincing anatomy too, great work :)

Love the colors. the geometric shapes really add to this image... and that model... wow!... I need to start saving so I can get one of these for my bathroom! (grin).
